A Pretty Accurate Summary, bu Not Evaluation, of Mozart's Opera

Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito is often critiqued for its dramatic shortcomings, yet Saturday night it was easy to forget “scholarship.”  Emmanuel Music turned out a powerhouse performance of Mozart’s penultimate opera, and all they needed was music!  Here’s my coverage in The Boston Musical Intelligencer:
